Advent Paper Chain

Here's a decoration and an activity, all rolled into one, which you can put together with the whole family.  It’s all the pieces you need to make a decorative paper chain to count down the days of Advent leading up to Christmas Day, and the celebration of the birth of our Savior.

 

You are invited to print out the five pages on different color sheets of paper (or decorated with crayons if color paper is unavailable). Then cut the strips with a pair of scissors along the dotted lines. 

 

The key is to read the strip for that day, roll into a link, and add it to the chain each day.  As your chain gets longer you will know that you are getting closer to Christmas.   Each link will be a reminder of what the season is all about and of the beautiful illustrations of our faith which are all around us.

 

You are welcome to print as many copies as you would like for yourself, your extended family and your church family.
